How Do I Forward My Number with Grasshopper

Welcome to VoiceNation! We’re excited to bring you America’s #1 Live Answering Service! In order to have our receptionists answer your calls, you need to forward your calls from your current number to your forwarding number.

If your current number is from Grasshopper, follow the instructions below:

To begin forwarding your calls to your VoiceNation number, sign in to your Grasshopper online account.

  • On your Grasshopper dashboard, click on Settings
  • Select Call Forwarding Settings, then Extensions.
  • Click edit next to an existing extension
  • Select the “Add a forwarding number” box
  • Enter the VoiceNation phone number in the “Forwarding number” box
  • In the next section, select the second option (Calls will connect to you as soon as you pick up)
  • Choose when you’d like VoiceNation to answer calls
  • Click the “Add this number” box
