As a Realtor, you’re constantly on the go to find new properties, meet with clients, and promote your current investments. Apps are the perfect tool to up your game and set you apart from your competition in this highly competitive housing market. Whether you need help with important documents or talking to your clients, there’s an app for that!
#1 – Curb Hero Real Estate Software
Instead of a sign in sheet, providing Curb Hero at your open house will make signing in your visiting clients a breeze. You won’t have to distinguish unique handwriting and you’ll be able to keep all of your visitor data in one place through this platform. It’s effortless to customize this to your open house experience and takes some of the hard work out of hosting one of your properties.
“My go-to for open houses – I host a few open houses each month as a real estate agent and use [Curb Hero] for every single one. It takes 5 minutes to set it up, then I simply place my iPad near the entrance for guests to sign in. What I love most is the simplicity for guests – I always get accurate info, they never object to sign in and are often delighted at how easy it is over a paper form, and I can even set up automated text follow ups to connect immediately with guests. This sets me apart when they’re going to other homes the same day and keeps me top of mind, and provides great leverage when I’m busy at the open house. Can’t recommend it enough – and the team behind it is incredible – they provide great support and even reach out to me to see how they can make my experience better.”

DocuSign is a multiplatform app, so you can access your files both from your phone and your computer, making it the perfect app for both in and out of the office.
#3 – Canva
Canva is the perfect app for real estate agents when it comes to designing invites to open houses as well as stylized social media posts. With both an app and a website, Canva is perfect to design on-the-go or when you’re in the office. There is a large library of free templates, but for more detailed designs and specific event flyers, there is a Pro version available.
“I’m in love!! The amount of time it took for me to generate a flyer blew me away. It looks so well made and [professionally] done. The ease of use and function was phenomenal and far exceeded my expectations. I am hoping there is a tutorial on [accessibility] options or guidelines so that I may follow them and reach a broader base with my service work.”

#5 – Matterport
In this day and age, buyers aren’t usually looking to be physically at the property to look around before purchasing. Matterport is a perfect app to create an all immersive and online 3-D experience for your potential buyers to take a peek inside the home without needing to step foot inside. Offered both as apps and a website, Matterport comes with free and paid options for different business needs.
“It takes some doing but once you get the hang of it you can map out a floorplan quite nicely. It’s not something you can rush through though. And I’m not 100% certain but I believe this app can also be used to manually take 360 photos on any cell phone. However, it’s made for a device that can hold cell phones and make 360 photos and the like MUCH more accurate. I have seen people say that they have gotten better results doing those manually but I haven’t had any problems.”
