You are only billed for operator handling time which is a combination of the time the operator is on the phone working with the caller and a limited amount of 'wrap up time'. Wrap up time would be considered the time when a VoiceNation operator is working with a client to gather their information. If the caller then hangs up while the live operator is still working to type in the information and verify it for accuracy, we consider this wrap up time. Often times this can be several minutes, but we cap the max wrap up time billed to our clients to 180 seconds. Ensuring our clients get an accurate message.
If your account requires us to transfer a caller through to your phone, we only bill you for the time we are working to connect your with your callers. Once we successfully patch them through to you, you are no longer being billed for the operator handling time. You can talk as long as you want on that call with no charges from VoiceNation. This is what we mean by "no patching fees" on our billing FAQs.
