Vermont is a gorgeous state located in New England. With Lake Champlain making up most of the western border, and the lush green mountains inhabiting most of the state, it is an adventurer’s paradise. It is also the second least populous state in the nation, with Montpelier as the least-populated state capital in the United States. Home to many businesses and the University of Vermont, Burlington is the most populous city in the state. In the past, logging was a major agricultural component for Vermont, but today many people make a living in the dairy industry. People from all over the world enjoy the cheeses of Vermont, such as Cabot Cheese. The “Green Mountain State” is the nation’s largest maple syrup producer, but other industries include government, real estate, tourism, micro brewing, and healthcare. From skiing at Killington to sailing on Lake Champlain, Vermont is a pleasure. The state is a wonderful place to live, work, and play.
