In between Philadelphia and New York City lies the state of New Jersey, making it a major hub for business and suburbanization in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions of the nation. Nicknamed the “Garden State,” New Jersey is the most densely populated state in the country. It is also the third wealthiest state in the United States. From the Native American roots of the state to the fueling of the industrial revolution, New Jersey celebrates a rich history. New Jersey offers a diverse geography, from the gorgeous beaches and coastlines to heavily wooded forests, and to fertile farmland. Blueberries, cranberries, heads of lettuce, spinach, and bell peppers are all products of the “Garden State.” Some of the major industries in the state include pharmaceuticals, food processing, chemical, and financial. New Jersey may not be a large state, but it has a lot going for it.
