Marketing and advertising are not the same thing. Advertising is great, and it helps get the word out about your business. Come up with a plan

There’s no point providing a product or service that no one, or a very small percentage of people, are interested in. Customers don’t want to be inundated with choices. And you don’t want to waste money and resources on things people aren’t buying. Corner your market, then market your top products and services.

Offer discounts and promotions.

This is simple, yet effective. Once you realize what your top products and services are, you can offer discounts or promotions to new customers. Something like 20 percent off your first purchase, or another type of discount if you ask people to sign a contract for a service. But don’t forget about your existing customers! You want them to keep coming back, so offering a promotion is a great way to do that. Whether it’s a reduced price after a certain period of time (in the case of a contract) or a 2 for 1 deal when purchasing a product, customers love a good deal.
